Shady Rest Bed and Breakfast at 3288 Lakeshore Road, Lexington, Michigan.

My Fiance and I stayed at this bed and breakfast just this past weekend. We were trying so hard to find a place to stay for the night because we had a wedding to attend in Harbor Beach. We were hesitant about a bed and breakfast because we never really stayed in one before. The Shady Rest bed and breakfast exceeded all our expectations! From the beginning the owners were extremely friendly and overly accommodating to us. The room we stayed in was the Oak room and it had a king size bed that was probably more comfortable than our bed at home. Both the room and the bathroom we shared was extremely clean and cozy. I felt right at home and could of slept through breakfast easily. Other than the comfy sleeping quarters, breakfast was beyond delicious. We had fresh fruit, Stuffed french toast, and bacon! It was definitely a great way to wake up. We would recommend this place and stay again if we are ever in the area in the future!
